BankBI and Celero are pleased to announce their joint agreement with Crossroads Credit Union to deliver a financial performance management solution to advance data-driven decision-making within the Saskatchewan credit union.

Through this collaboration, Crossroads Credit Union gains access to insightful data from their core systems through an automated process that will enable their executives and financial team to better understand and drive their performance by growing the balance sheet, managing profitability and delivering efficiencies.

“With BankBI we continue to deliver on our promise to better serve our members and employees in 2021 and beyond. By enabling information to flow daily from our core banking and Financial Accounting Suite (FAS) solutions, we will make better informed, data-driven decisions to manage our financial performance, which ultimately results in better returns and experience for our members”

Rhonda Fullawka, Manager, Finance & Risk, Crossroads Credit Union.

Informed Decisions Driven By Relevant Insights

The BankBI platform enables financial leaders to better manage their overall financial performance by linking data from credit unions’ internal technology platforms and translating the data into insights that can reduce costs and drive profitability.

“We excited to partner with Crossroads Credit Union to provide a comprehensive suite of functionality to further help the flow of information and to allow the credit union to better manage and grow the business for their members and employees”

BankBI CEO, Graham Goble shares, adding;

“Because Celero is rooted in the Canadian credit union system, they have been invaluable for increasing awareness of our solution and helping us gain traction in Canada.”

Celero and BankBI signed an agreement at the end of 2020 to expand the analytics solutions available to the Canadian credit union system; a collaboration that Tom Papagiannopoulos, Senior Vice President at Celero says is driving new opportunities for credit unions like Crossroads to advance their access to relevant insights.

“Our collaboration with BankBI is a valuable addition to our analytics offering as we help our clients navigate through a competitive and fluctuating business environment. Together we are providing credit unions a critical advantage to capitalize on financial opportunities, anticipate change and gain a clearer view of the future”

About Crossroads Credit Union

From humble beginnings to great success! The success of Crossroads Credit Union began at a community meeting in 1958 when the residents of Canora began the process of creating a credit union.

161 residents signed membership forms and deposited $10,855. On April 28th, 1959 Canora Credit Union was incorporated as a side – enterprise at a Saskatchewan Wheat Pool elevator, a much needed financial institution in the community.

Putting members first has always been our priority. Our vision is to ensure that everyone in Crossroads Country has the Financial Confidence to succeed in any direction they choose. And it is our mission to achieve this by making it easy and beneficial for our member-owners to have a full relationship with us.

Today, we are known as Crossroads Credit Union, a successful, cooperative financial institution that has come a long way since 1958.

Crossroads serves over 6,500 member-owners with over $302.7 million in assets, and continues to strive to bring tailored, accessible service and solutions to our member-owners through our 4 branches in the Canora, Preeceville, Sturgis and Wadena areas or what we call “Crossroads Country”.

About BankBI

BankBI was born out of the desire to deliver the kind of analytics and automated management reporting long desired by the Banking and Credit Union industry, but which conventional methodologies were failing to deliver.

The vision was and is to leverage the efficiencies brought by cloud architecture to deliver an analytics application that is deployed remotely needing no local infrastructure or expensive skills, maintained centrally in a multi-tenant environment, and implemented quickly using a pre-configured data structure.

This finally provides management with the timely, trustworthy information they need, when they need it, and in a low-cost subscription model.
