Premier Credit wanted to monitor growth of its rapidly expanding MFI, improve month-end reporting and maintain control over costs that could potentially grow exponentially.

They knew that keeping on top of an increasing number of loan portfolios and associated risks would also become more complex as the business expanded in Kenya and latterly Uganda and Tanzania.

Through Premier's relationship with their core banking company Mambu, BankBI was introduced. The BankBI product was ideal for Premier Credit because they were relatively small and employing expensive consultants to build and implement a system would be too much of a burden; it would take too long as well.
